iMedius Presentation in CHIGreece 2025

The research team of the iMedius project participated in CHI Greece 2025, presenting the paper entitled "UX Evaluation and Best Practices for Social Research Data-Collection Tools: The Case of iMedius FormBuilder". The presentation highlighted the contribution of the project to the intersection of digital analytics technology with social sciences, through the development of specially designed data collection and analysis tools.
The iMedius FormBuilder platform allows social scientists to design and implement complex studies without prior technical expertise. In the context of the presentation, emphasis was placed on:
- the integration of innovative attention and behavior monitoring mechanisms (eye-tracking, mouse-tracking, web activity logging);
- data visualization capabilities (heatmaps, charts, fixation maps),
- UX evaluation in collaboration with human-computer interface experts and social scientists,
- as well as adapting the platform to the needs of researchers.
The presentation at CHI Greece 2025 highlighted how iMedius introduces new methodological possibilities in social research, combining qualitative and quantitative data and highlighting the importance of a user-centric perspective in the design of digital research tools.
The project is funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I.), in the context of the national recovery and resilience plan "Greece 2.0".
