Marina Stamatiadou

She holds a diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). Her diploma thesis and specialization was on Service-Oriented Architectures for IoT systems. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in School of Journalism & Mass Media Communication in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research focus is on User Generated Content (UGC) and Mobile Journalism (MoJo) content semantic analysis as well as on the development and deployment of media-related tools and automations. Her research interests also include automated storytelling template creation and question answering systems for automated news summarization and capturing. She also has professional experience in process engineering and standardization. She has participated in several research projects as a senior and lead software engineer in the fields of software engineering and IoT-related technologies.
